Blog 6: Postgraduate Studies
Hi everyone!
I hope you are doing well. Today I'm going to talk about a postgraduate course that I would consider taking in the future.
First, in my case, I must finish my undergraduate course in Universidad de Chile: Journalism. Then I would like to do a literature course. I really like reading. My grandmother taught me how important reading is. I started reading only sports books, but now I'm a fan of novels and chronicles. The Polish reporter Ryszard Kapuściński is one of my favorites.
In any case, I want to study in Mexico. In Mexico City. After reading The Savage Detectives of the Chilean writer Roberto Bolaño I decided to go there. That book made me crazy. Arturo Belano and Ulised Lima are two great characters. His love for poetry and his adventures are extraordinary. Bolaño also lived there for a while. In one of his books, he talked about his love for the city's sunset.
Besides, I admire the Mexicans a lot. I love their culture, their food and their people. They were very important in America before the arrival of the Spanish conqueror. Like as they have earthquakes. Very recently there was a very strong one that destroyed many buildings and killed many people.
But that will not stop me from becoming a real visceralist hahahaha!
Well, it's all for today. See you next week!

Cris, I also admire the culture mexican. I would travel to Mexico in the future.
ResponderEliminarI really want that you achieve your dream studying Literature, but I'm tired of Bolaño! Is a overvalue writer, is just a trending. Sacheri is much better.
